"Change the Lens Through Which You See" Custom Rug
Art you can walk on. Custom rugs that are hand-tufted in 100% New Zealand wool, which is amongst the finest in the world . Each one is custom dyed in an in-house dye facility in which any custom color can be matched. The yarn is hand-tufted through the front of the cotton muslin backing and then a latex backing is applied to the reverse side. The front of the rug is then sheared and hand-finished with trimming scissors. When carving and/or beveling is in the rug, that is done by hand as the final step. Each rug is custom made to order with a 12 week turnaround time.
Any custom size is available - to any 1/2" dimension - at $67.50/SF or $72.00/SF. 24 square feet is the smallest order accepted, and any smaller rug will be charged at 24 SF. Round or odd shaped rugs will be charged as a square or rectangle. Odd shaped rugs may require a template to insure an exact size/ shape duplication.
Want a custom rug using different colors than pictured? We not only can create custom size rugs, but custom colors as well. Custom colors and designs are available, in accordance with any commission done by Hilary Howorth Art. A minimal surcharge may apply.
Custom, 2' x2' strike off samples are available for $215.00 and will be sent to you within 4-5 weeks.
Rugs will be sent to you within 10-12 weeks from CAD and/or strike off sample approval. A 50% deposit is required when ordered and the balance will be due before the rug will ship out.
